Built for the trades

Your phone, answered.Built for septic and sewer.

An AI receptionist that knows septic and sewer: what to ask before the truck moves, what not to quote over the phone, and what is an emergency versus a service call.

Sewage is coming up into a bathtub on a Sunday. That family is not waiting until Monday and they are not leaving a message.

Half your calls are a pump-out somebody has put off for two years. The other half started twenty minutes ago.

The ones that started twenty minutes ago go to whoever answered.

$39

a month to start, 200 minutes, about 55 calls

A live answering service runs $180 to $600 a month and takes a message. This books the job. All three plans

Takes about a minute. We read your site and build an agent from what we find. No email. No card.

01 / What it knows about septic and sewer

  • Sewage inside the house is an emergency. A tank that is due is not. It sorts them before it looks at your schedule.
  • It asks the tank size and the last pump-out date, because that decides the truck and the time on site.
  • It knows a backup in every drain means the main line and not the fixture, and it asks the question that separates them.
  • It tells a caller with sewage in the house to stop running water everywhere and keep people and pets out of the room.
  • It will not quote a drain field replacement over the phone. Soil, depth, and the county permit decide that.
  • It asks whether the property is on septic or on city sewer, because half the callers genuinely do not know.
  • Real-estate inspections come with a closing date, and it asks for it.

02

The work

The jobs it books without asking you.

These come pre-selected when you set it up, because they are what septic & sewer shops actually run. You uncheck what you do not do and add what is missing, once.

  • Septic pumping
  • Emergency backup
  • Septic inspection
  • Drain field repair
  • Sewer line cleaning
  • Septic tank repair
  • Sewer camera inspection
  • Lift pump repair

Anything it has not been told about, it says it does not know and sends you the question by text. It does not guess.

03

The call it has to get right

What happens when someone says the wrong thing.

Most calls book a job. One kind of call requires something else. Here is what it does when that call comes in.

Example trigger

Caller says sewage is backing up into the house

What it does (example)

It tells them to stop using every drain in the house, including toilets and the washing machine, and to keep people and pets out of the affected room. It flags the call as an active backup and texts you. It does not offer a routine pumping window for that call.

This is an example of how the system is configured to respond. Exact behavior reflects your setup.

04

The question set

What it asks before anyone drives anywhere.

These are the intake questions built for septic and sewer. The same questions you would ask. They get asked on every call, in order, before anything is scheduled or priced.

  1. Is anything backing up into the house right now?
  2. Is it one fixture, or every drain in the house?
  3. Are you on a septic system or on city sewer?
  4. When was the tank last pumped?
  5. Do you know where the tank and the lid are?
  6. Is there standing water or a smell in the yard?

What it will not quote

Drain field replacement

A drain field is priced off soil percolation, system size, and the county permit. Nobody quotes that honestly before an inspection, so it books the inspection.

It quotes your diagnostic fee ($89 default) and offers a window. Nothing else until a tech is on site.

What it costs

Next to what you pay now.

When it earns its keep

Heavy rain weeks and holiday gatherings. That is when the phone triples and every missed call is a job that went to the next shop on the list. This does not go up in your busy months. The bill in your busiest week is the bill in January.

The next call is the one you are about to miss.

Set it up in about twenty minutes, once. We read your website, you correct what we got wrong, and you forward your number when you are happy with it. Not before.
