Built for the trades
An AI receptionist that knows garage doors: what to ask before the truck moves, what not to quote over the phone, and what is an emergency versus a service call.
Spring snaps at 7am. The car is inside, both kids are late for school, and the phone is ringing before the tech has his coffee.
A stuck door is not something a customer schedules for next week. They call until somebody answers.
Same-day response is the whole business model. If you do not answer, the next guy does.
$39
a month to start, 200 minutes, about 55 calls
A live answering service runs $180 to $600 a month and takes a message. This books the job. All three plans
Takes about a minute. We read your site and build an agent from what we find. No email. No card.
01 / What it knows about garage doors
02
The work
These come pre-selected when you set it up, because they are what garage doors shops actually run. You uncheck what you do not do and add what is missing, once.
Anything it has not been told about, it says it does not know and sends you the question by text. It does not guess.
03
The call it has to get right
Most calls book a job. One kind of call requires something else. Here is what it does when that call comes in.
Example trigger
Caller says their car is trapped inside and they need to leave for work
What it does (example)
It asks whether the door has an emergency release cord, the red cord hanging from the opener track. If yes, it walks them through releasing it manually so they can get the car out. It then schedules the repair call. If they cannot release it, it marks the call urgent and texts you for fastest available dispatch.
This is an example of how the system is configured to respond. Exact behavior reflects your setup.
04
The question set
These are the intake questions built for garage doors. The same questions you would ask. They get asked on every call, in order, before anything is scheduled or priced.
What it will not quote
Full door replacement
Door price depends on panel count, material, insulation rating, and the opener. None of that can be quoted honestly without a site measurement.
It offers a free estimate visit. It does not attempt to price the job over the phone.
05
What it costs
A cold January morning with four spring calls and no coverage means four jobs go to somebody who answered. Our One Truck plan is $39 a month and it covers nights and weekends for the price of one service call.
Over your minutes it is $0.30 a minute, and the overage is capped at the plan price, so the worst month you can have is double the plan. No contract, cancel any time. Full pricing details
When it earns its keep
First cold snap and January freezes. That is when the phone triples and every missed call is a job that went to the next shop on the list. This does not go up in your busy months. The bill in your busiest week is the bill in January.
Set it up in about twenty minutes, once. We read your website, you correct what we got wrong, and you forward your number when you are happy with it. Not before.
