Help
Setup is about twenty minutes, once. This is what each step asks for, what forwarding does to the number you already have, and how to stop the whole thing in ten seconds. If the answer is not here, hello@savethejob.com reaches a person.

Setup
Nothing is recorded and no call is answered until you finish the last one and forward your number. You can leave and come back; the link in your email returns you to the step you stopped on.
Step 1 of 8
Your business name, how it is pronounced if the spelling lies, your own name and the number we should reach you on.
The name is the first thing a caller hears, so a shop called J&R spelled aloud as jay-and-arr is a correction we make once here instead of on every call. Your number is where the call summary is texted.
Step 2 of 8
How far you travel, and any ZIP codes you refuse regardless of distance.
It checks the caller's address against this before it offers a time. A shop that does not cross the county line has the agent say so before the truck moves, which is the difference between a short call and a wasted drive.
Step 3 of 8
When someone can reach a person, and what should happen outside those hours.
The agent answers around the clock either way. This decides whether a 2am caller is booked into tomorrow, told when you open, or put through to you because you take emergencies.
Step 4 of 8
The jobs you do, pre-checked from your trade, and what you charge to come out.
The agent only offers work you selected, and it quotes your diagnostic fee and nothing else. Anything it was not told about, it says it does not know and texts you the question rather than guessing.
Step 5 of 8
What counts as an emergency in your trade and who gets rung when one comes in.
Gas, carbon monoxide, live wires, water through a ceiling: the agent stops the booking flow, gives the caller the safety instruction, and rings your list in order. It does not try to schedule those.
Step 6 of 8
The calendar it books into, or nothing, in which case we give you one.
It reads real open slots and writes the job in, so the time it offers a caller is a time you actually have. Without a connected calendar it books into ours and texts you the job.
Step 7 of 8
Your existing business number, and the voicemail number for the hard stop.
You keep your number. Forwarding sends unanswered calls to the agent and you undo it in about ten seconds from your phone. The voicemail number is where calls go if you ever hit the billing ceiling, so nothing is ever dropped.
Step 8 of 8
Everything above on one screen, plus the recording authorisation.
Nothing is recorded and no call is answered until you submit this. The authorisation is captured here rather than at signup because this is the screen where it actually starts, and consenting three screens early is consenting to something you have not seen.

Money
| Plan | A month | Included minutes | About |
|---|---|---|---|
| One Truck | $39 | 200 | 55 calls |
| Crew | $99 | 650 | 185 calls |
| Fleet | $249 | 1,600 | 455 calls |
Over your included minutes it is $0.30 a minute, and the overage is capped at the plan price. That cap is the whole point: the worst month you can have is double the plan, and you can say that number out loud before your busy season instead of finding it out afterwards. There is no contract and no setup fee.
The full pricing page has what happens as you approach the cap, including the notices you get on the way.

The rest
Write to hello@savethejob.com. It is read by a person, not a queue, and a cancellation email is never answered by anything trying to talk you out of it.
